Advanced Placement or AP are college-level exams for high school students in several subjects within six disciplines. The exams contain both multiple-choice and free-response questions.
Each subject is scored from 1 – to 5, and this score determines your college credit in the future.
The exams are usually conducted in May over two weeks of time, but as we all know a pandemic has brought in several changes, even for exams. Exams are conducted online or through voice calls and some are even replaced by assignments.
Did you know that last year AP exams were conducted in a hybrid way, which means both/ either paper-pencil tests or/ and online?
What does this mean for AP test 2022? Is it going to be online? Is it going to go back to being offline? or is it going to be hybrid?

If your guess was offline, then you are absolutely right! Amidst the prevailing pandemic, there also has been great improvement around the states, it is admittedly going to get even better in the future especially as our big day is around may.
Therefore the organization has decided to resume offline exams from this year. They will definitely continue COVID-19 protocols for safety, which are yet to be announced.
The fee may not differ with resuming the offline exam is what is expected as of now.
AP TEST CALENDAR
The AP test 2022 will begin from the 2nd of May and will extend till the 13th of May, each subject will be assigned on different days with separate time slots.
WEEK 1
Week one starts from May 2nd (Monday) to May 6th (Friday) with both morning exams (8:00 am – 9:00 am) and afternoon exams (12:00 pm – 1:00 pm)

Art and Design: The deadline for AP coordinators to submit digital AP 2-D Art and Design, 3-D Art and Design, and Drawing portfolios (by 8:00 PM ET) and assemble 2-D Art and Design and Drawing students for physical portfolio assembly is Friday, May 6th, 2022. Before this date, teachers should provide finished Digital Art and Design portfolios to coordinators.
AP Seminar and AP Research: The deadline to submit performance tasks as final and for your presentations to be assessed by your AP Seminar or AP Research teacher is May 2, 2022 (11:59 p.m.).
AP Computer Science Principles: The deadline to submit your Create performance work as final is May 2, 2022 (11:59 p.m.).

WEEK 2
Week two starts from May 9th (Monday) to May 13th(Friday) with morning exams ( 8:00 am – 9:00 am ) , afternoon exams (12:00 pm – 1:00 pm ) and another afternoon session for Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism (2:00 pm – 3:00 pm)

Now that we have got our calendar for the exams, let’s take out our pen and paper and begin charting out our timetable for learning! Make sure to follow the calendar and not procrastinate even if the exams are weeks from now!
